Site of the Constitutional Convention of the First Philippine Republic. A national shrine, the historic Barasoain Church is the site of the Constitutional Convention of the first Philippine Republic, making the Philippines the very first Asian Government to promulgate a Constitution.

 

 

The resting grounds of freedom fighters during the Philippine-Spanish war. Biak-na-Bato nature park is located 12 kilometers from the municipality of San Miguel de Mayumo. It provides a unique eco-adventure steeped in history. It is a mountain gorge sliced by the Balaong River that flows from Calumpit in Bulacan and empties into Candaba Swamp in Pampanga.

 

 

The Plaridel Church more popularly known as Saint James Parish Church is a 400-year old parish church. It is the main tourist attraction of this quiet municipality located in the province of Bulacan. The Church boasts of an amazing interiors and a bell tower known as Simborio. A catholic school with the same name is also located within its vicinity.
